The course content covered during training will include:

Session 1

■ Introduction to the espresso machine and relevant components paramount to the perfect cup.

■ Manual grinder principles

■ Hand tamping & packing the shot.

■ Extract espresso in correct time range.

■ Beverage standards preparation FREE POUR method only.

■ Prepare a range of espresso beverages with advanced methods only.

Session 2

■ Refining and speed manual dosing development.

■ Hand tamping speed development.

■ MILK TEXTURING ON DEMAND© refinement and development.

■ Free pour and SPEED ESPRESSO BEVERAGE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM©

■ Full café beverage presentation refinement.

■ Multiple real-time espresso presentation and service.

■ Common workstation pre-shift organisation.

Session 3

■ Beverage presentation and summary with practice and refinement.

■ Pre-shift maintenance and shift change over requirements.

■ Workstation  pre-shift and post shift close procedures.

■ Water and descale back flushing and maintenance hands on training procedures.

■ Opening pre-shift procedures including machine self checking methods.

■ Written assessment (off site) or oral assessment (where applicable)

■ *Certificate presentation or mailed out for successful course completion.

* Please note that the certificate presented is an in-house certificate that will only be issued

upon the successful completion of the Barista Fundamentals Course. The course content delivered is

exclusive only to My Coffee Coach® and Mista Barista® and is a world first one-on-one barista training

 system. A nationally recognised and accredited barista certificate  is under development with the

Australian Training Authority as an exclusive training package that is  a stand alone and one-on-one

certification  by My Coffee Coach®  This accreditation package will be soon an exclusive nationally

and internationally recognised Cert IV level to Diploma level setting a new benchmark for future barista

training.
